Un cambio de vida / A change in life

Good morning and good monday to all!. A month ago I told you there wouldn’t be any posts in the blog due to a problem and that I’d tell you which, I'm sorry it has taken me so much tiem to tell you but there were reasons for that delay. Last Thursday 11th Sept my bosses, due to economical reasons, dismissed me.

At first it was a shock for me (I had been working in the same company for 24 years) but later I tried to react in a positive way searching for alternatives to keep me occupied (teaching English, working in charity organizations, improving my English, etc..) and thinking my life was simply giving a turn. I remember the night from thursday to friday. I went to bed with a paper and a pen on the night table. In the dark while in bed I was thinking about things I couldn’t forget and that were useful for me to do before my work contract finished so I spent that night switching on and off the light to write down a list of things, so no sleep at all.

There have been very difficult weeks for me. I didn't sleep (problems for me are equal not sleeping, grrr) and I almost didn't eat (strange thing for me) so you can imagine my exhaustion degree.

Unfortunately millions of people in the world are dismissed each day (I wish this damned economical crisis finishes soon!). There are inmediate dismissals in which a person can be obligated to stand up from his/her work chair and get out of the office at that very same moment and others which last more than a month and my case has been the second one which takes an enormous emotional and personal exhaustion.

Before finishing this post I'd like to give thanks (the order is simply alphabetic) to Ana, Conchín, Estrella, Inés, Lorena and Mariví for having been there for me.
