Una duda sobre un quilt de hexágonos / A doubt about an hexie quilt

Buenos días y buen miércoles! como os decía en el título del post de hoy: tengo una duda sobre el quilt de hexágonos. Empecé a coserlo poniendo los hexágonos de color liso azul jean en la parte de fuera y los hexágonos de tela estampada en el centro y separándolos entre sí con los hexágonos color beis pero me parecía una combinación muy sosa. Así que ayer empecé a "jugar" intentando idear otra combinación con un poquito más de gracia dado que la idea que tengo para el resultado final es esta:

Good morning and good wednesday! as I was telling you in today's post title: I have a doubt about my hexie quilt. I started sewing them mixing the solid blue jean colour outside and the blue floral fabric for the inside and the cream fabric around them but I think it's a boring combination. So yesterday I started to "play" trying to get ideas of a more cheerful combination as the idea I have about the final result is the one you can see above.

¿Qué os parece la combinación de hexágonos estampados? ¿y la combinación del liso con el centro estampado?. Os pregunto vuestro parecer porque en una ocasión ví una colcha de hexágonos con muchísimo trabajo pero mal combinada de color y la verdad es que el resultado era muy feo y ya que es un quilt cosido a mano y con mucho trabajo me gustaría dar con la combinación perfecta. ¿Sugerencias?. What do you think of the floral hexies combination? And the solid cream colour with the floral in the centre?. I'm asking for your opinion because I remember once seeing an hexie quilt with a lot of sewing work but a very bad colour combination and the result was really ugly and as it is a hand sewing quilt with a lot of work I'd like to get the perfect combination. Any suggestions?. Thank you very much for your help
