Estoy..........¿ocupado/a? / Am I..........busy?

Good morning and good Wednesday to all! how's your week started? busy perhaps? because I'd like to talk about this today: about the busy people and about the "busy people?". Two different categories, in my opinion, about having things to do. I explain myself: the busy people are those people who without having to say so anyone can see that they daily have not many but too many things to do but oddly enough are those same people the ones who always find a moment for another activity different to their current work or to help anybody in spite of not having even time for it.

Now I think about two examples close to me, one from years ago and the other nowadays. The years ago example is my mother. I remember every morning, while my sister and me were small, she walked us to the school (it was 10 minutes walking from our home). She left us there before 9 to go back home quickly to make beds, some shopping, get lunch ready and before 1 she was coming back to our school to pick up us, have lunch with us and then back to school about 3. Come back home to do the washing up, prepare a sandwich for us and go to the school to pick up us at 5 o'clock to go home to do homework with us, baths, dinner and put us to sleep...because the following morning the "marathon" started again. And all this went on until I was 6 and my sister 5 because then three afternoons a week she picked up us at 5 and then walked us to an English academy for us to learn English from 6 to 7 and then home for homework, bath and dinner. And it was so during 6 years. My mother didn't work outside home so she was the only one she could walk us from and to school but my mother's case wasn't an extraordinary one, this was the case of most 70's mums. The nowadays case is about a partner in a company. He works, as we say in Spanish more hours than the clock has, in this company, even at the weekends and he also teaches at the University. And you know the most curious thing is that I've never heard from any of them saying "I'm busy", never.

And who are the "busy people?" then? jajaja well the "busy people?" are a "race" well deserved the study. In my opinion, they are the people who, without having many occupations/activities to do, fill their lives of small things just to show other people how busy they are.....sorry "busy?". I still can't understand , and please if anyone understands it please explain it to me, why does it seem to be trendy to say "I'm busy" or "I've got lots of things to do" when in the "busy?" case it's not so or at least it's not completely so?. So as I've said, it deserves a study. Hugs for all!

¡¡Feliz aniversario!!

Good morning and good monday! Today is my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, their golden wedding anniversary and I know you'll allow me to be a little personal in today's post. Fifty years together! Congratulations mum and dad!. My parents got married on 14th October 1.963. In fact it was a double wedding because my mother and her sister got married at the same time (although my auntie and uncle, unfortunately, died years ago). I was born ten months after their wedding and my sister fifteen months after me so in a matter of three years, wedding and two daughters. And years passed by and there we are today 50 years later you mum with your 80 years old and dad with 83 but resisting. After so many years you are like a leg or arm for each other, you can't imagine how to live without the other. Happy anniversary!!

There's always something to do for the first time

Good wednesday everybody! I watched this video, just by chance, in YouTube and I decided to share it with you because of its humanity, because it is very positive, for the truth that it is that there is always we can discover for the first time regardless of the age we are and the experiences we could have had in life, because it shows part of Valencia and a village (Santa Cruz de Moya, 114 kms away from Valencia as you could see in the video) of my autonomic community and because watching this video leaves a sweet taste in your mouth. It's just two minutes which I hope you enjoy. An autumnal hug for all!

Good morning! Today I’d like to tell you something funny that happened to me this summer. This kind of things happen to me often but fortunately they are, almost always, nice and have a happy-end so I can’t complain and as they are pleasant to tell you here you have it, I’ll tell you more in some other time jajaja.

In August during the days I stayed in León every afternoon I used to give a long walk around the centre of the city and my feet always took me by the cathedral which is surrounded by a wide pedestrian area where it was pleasant to sit on a bench and see people passing by and talk. One of those afternoons I opened an email on my mobile which was from a blog I usually follow, in it there were given many links with different crafts: made with paper, fabric, etc..I was curious about one of the links so I clicked. Ayyy, suddenly I could see in the screen a more than explicit sexual scene and “Starting dowload”. Starting download of whaaaat? I thought with a frightened face not for the content of the porn video (I’m old enough not to be frightened by it jajaja) but for the probable cost of it. So I started clicking on “Cancel” but with no result. So I went over to “Downloads” and there it was….¡the porn video! that I erased without clicking it. I phoned my mobile company telling them what had happened and asking them if there was any cost for that dowloading. The lady who answered the phone told me there was no charge for it and we started talking about that matter. She told me there are some companies that make the most linking their porn videos and such downloads to absolutely innocent links like the one I clicked but no cost-no worry only the funny talk with the lady on the phone talking about this. There you can see which funny things happen to me. Hugs to all!

Good morning! thank God it's friday and the day for another tutorial (this one by justbellablog.com), easy and cheap as the ones I usually show you here: coffee filters flowers. The coffee filters can be bought in the Dollar Store (or similar shops). I did this craft and the flowers are beautiful, give it a try this weekend. Love!

And that's not all folks! here you have to video presents for you. The first one is a very impressive video of a stormy sea, beautiful and the second one is a song recorded by an American mum with some subtitles, but this is more for my English speaking readers. It's made me smile and I think you'll like it.

Good wednesday! Yesterday it was 1st October and in Valencia we got ¡34ºC! and the weather forecast for today is the same so I was wondering if it'd be more suitable to put a video about how to make a bikini or a swimsuit jajajaja but I guess in other countries you are getting cooler temperaturas and this video will possibly be more useful for you, there it goooes, hugs!
